About Us

                              Stephen & Haidee Grove are living it large in Chicago! The journey from sunny Geelong, Australia has been a whirlwind, after an exciting job offer led to a small and quickly-organised wedding in December 2006, and culminated in a teary departure from our families to arrive ankle-deep in snow in Chicago, U.S.A. in February 2007. This website is our wormhole back to Oz, where family, friends and anyone stumbling through cyberspace can read up on our experience – all the news, thoughts and complaints – interesting, boring, funny or pointless, as we try to do as Americans do and keep up with the Jones’s in the ’burbs of Chi-town.
